FMIF 2023 Future Metaverse Innovation Forum and China International Software Products and Information Services Trade Fair Metaverse Exhibition was recently held in Nanjing. Qixinyawei, a leading domestic XR eye tracking solution provider, was invited to attend and won the 2023 Metaverse Technology Innovation Award. FMIF Awards Future Metaverse Innovation Award was jointly initiated by Future Metaverse Innovation Forum, ARinChina, investment institutions, and authoritative media, aiming to guide and promote the healthy development of the metaverse industry.
At the forum, Lu Weicheng, Vice President of Qixinyawei, shared the market status, development trends, application scenarios, and value of eye tracking technology in the XR field. He also discussed the significance of Apple's Vision Pro in the spatial computing era and how it aligns with Qixinyawei's multi-modal natural interaction concept.
Lu Weicheng revealed that Qixinyawei has developed a "single eye dual camera" XR eye tracking solution with the same capabilities as Apple's Vision Pro. He believes that eye tracking is entering a "golden age" as the metaverse continues to develop.
According to a report by Bain & Company, the market size of the metaverse is expected to reach $900 billion by 2030, and eye tracking is considered a key core technology in the XR field. Companies such as Apple, Meta, Sony, Microsoft, Varjo, HTC, PICO, and Xiaopai have already released XR devices with eye tracking functionality.
Qixinyawei has been investing in XR eye tracking technology for more than a decade and has created multiple industry-first solutions. The company has collaborated with top XR brands and established long-term partnerships with giants like Qualcomm, NVIDIA, and Tencent.
In the future, Qixinyawei plans to strengthen its presence in the XR industry and promote the widespread adoption and application of eye tracking technology, aiming to improve human-machine interaction experience.
