VR益智游戏《渔夫的故事》登陆Oculus Quest
Vertigo Games and InnerspaceVR's ocean-themed puzzle game "A Fisherman's Tale", which won the Best VR Game of the Year award at the 2019 VR Game Awards, has now been launched on the Oculus Quest platform for $14.99.
The game's concept is understood if you have seen the movie "Inception" which features layered dreams. "A Fisherman's Tale" uses the concept of recursion as a game mechanism, aiming to create a unique experience that users have never experienced before using VR capabilities. Players control Bob, a retired fisherman puppet, as he interacts with different-sized models in the lighthouse environment. The story quickly becomes a powerful metaphor about a lonely person trapped in their own fears and traumas.
Balthazar Auxiétre, the Creative Director of InnerspaceVR, described "A Fisherman's Tale" as an incredible VR puzzle adventure game. Players assume the role of Bob, a small fisherman puppet trapped inside a model lighthouse, which is actually located within another model lighthouse, and so on. Players must collaborate with infinite versions of themselves and interact with models of different scales to find a way out of the predicament. The game draws inspiration from the sense of recursion and can only be experienced in VR, especially because players must utilize depth and scale in ways that are impossible in any other 2D game or real life.
