Epic Games, the company behind the Unreal Engine, has announced the release of a series of Unreal Engine 4 instructor guides, aimed at assisting academic institutions in teaching UE4 in their classrooms. These guides cover various topics such as VR, game development, self-learning, Unity users, design and visualization, and blueprint guides. The guides include lectures, quizzes, and tests that instructors can incorporate into their teaching materials seamlessly. One of the guides, the "Unreal Engine 4 Virtual Reality Development Guide," is based on Mitch McCaffrey's book "Virtual Reality Development with Unreal Engine 4" and consists of 12 courses, including quizzes, glossaries, and related project files. It allows instructors to teach VR development principles using a UE4-centered approach. The guides can be downloaded for free from the Epic's official Educators Resource Center, with the exception of the design and visualization and blueprint guides.
