Hatsune Miku VR will officially launch on Oculus Home on June 6. This rhythm game, which was initially released on Steam in March 2018, features various works of Hatsune Miku and allows players to freely dance along with her to the rhythm. The game also offers a variety of costumes for players to dress up Hatsune Miku. The Oculus version will include Snow Miku costumes and glow sticks. Hatsune Miku, developed by CRYPTON FUTURE MEDIA, is a virtual singer based on the VOCALOID voice synthesis program. The character's voice data is sampled from Japanese voice actress Saki Fujita. Hatsune Miku became hugely popular in the Japanese music software market, occupying about 30.4% of the market share by September 10, 2007. Due to Crypton's copyright openness and the lack of detailed official settings, there is a thriving community of fan-made creations centered around Hatsune Miku, including illustrations, dances, and covers.
