Pico, an AR/VR tech manufacturer, showcased its latest flagship product, the Pico Neo 2, at CES 2020. The product will be officially available for pre-sale on JD.com and Tmall Pico flagship store from March 16th, and will be officially released on March 25th. Pico claims that most of its investment in 2019 was focused on the Neo 2. The company aims to tap into the new form of VR gaming consoles, with Neo 2 as its flagship product. Pico believes that the new social market development trends are expected to drive the demand for 3DoF headsets like the Goblin series and Pancake optical glasses. Pico also plans to continue introducing high-quality mobile VR games for the Neo 2, with confidence that they will be able to add around five high-quality 6DoF games per month. Pico CEO, Zhou Hongwei, believes that Neo 2 is currently the most convenient VR gaming console in China and the best choice for Chinese players. He also highlighted the challenges and considerations in pricing the Neo 2 and Pico's commitment to providing support and resources to developers for content development. Additionally, Pico plans to focus on enhancing the content ecosystem and introducing MR technology and hand-tracking interaction technology in its future products like Neo 3.
