Moore Nanotechnology Systems, a precision processing system supplier, has released a new generation of precision processing platform, the 250UPL MP. The solution can be configured for all sub-nanometer, ultra-precision single-point diamond turning, grinding, and milling applications. In order to meet the high requirements for surface smoothness of optical components for applications such as smartphones, AR/VR/MR, and automobiles, optical mold manufacturers have a high demand for surface smoothness of optical components. To achieve the desired performance level, Moore Nanotechnology Systems has introduced the new design of the precision processing platform, 250UPL MP. The 250UPL series is specifically designed for processing optical lenses, mirrors, molds, freeform optical components, etc., and is mainly suitable for precision processing of parts with a diameter smaller than 350mm. The machine's X-axis and Z-axis travel is 200mm, with a standard turning capacity of 250mm. This ultra-precision CNC diamond machining center can quickly process various spherical and non-spherical components with surface smoothness up to the nanometer level and shape accuracy up to the sub-micrometer level.
