Leopoly, the studio behind the PC VR modeling software "Shapelab," has recently launched a new version specifically designed for the Meta Quest headset. The 3D modeling application, called "Shapelab Lite," is currently in early access on the Quest Store.
Shapelab Lite offers a range of core features from the PC VR version, providing intuitive sculpting and creation tools for beginners, enthusiasts, and professionals seeking independent 3D modeling solutions. The main functions of the app include a polygonal mesh framework for precise modeling, dynamic topology for flexible detail adjustments, and user-friendly controls for creating various 3D assets like props and characters.
Daniel Andrassy, Chief Product Officer, stated that Shapelab Lite represents an important step towards professional-level 3D modeling. They are pleased to bring the core features of the PC VR version to VR all-in-one users and support a new wave of creators. As an early access software, they actively listen to user feedback to ensure the application meets the community's needs.
