Oculus has added a remote installation feature to its new Oculus app, allowing users to browse the Oculus Store and remotely download games and experiences while commuting or waiting in line. Users can purchase games or apps directly within the Oculus app and then click on "Remote install" to have the system download and install them as long as their PC is powered on. This means that users can download and install new games like "Echo Combat" or "Defector" as soon as they are released and start playing them immediately when they get home. The app, released at the OC5 conference, also allows users to browse and subscribe to events, such as the weekly "Brass Tactics" challenge, without having to operate their PC at home. The Oculus app is currently available for download on iOS and Android devices.
