《半衰期:爱莉克斯》上榜Steam 3月份畅销TOP20
Valve recently announced its best-selling games on Steam for the month of March, and it is no surprise that Half-Life: Alyx, a VR game set in the "Half-Life" universe, made the list. The list includes 20 games, including popular titles such as Borderlands 3, Black Mesa, AI*Shoujo, and Biped / Just Adventure. It is important to note that Valve's monthly list is based on the sales in the first two weeks after a game's release.
Half-Life: Alyx, developed by Valve, was released on March 24, 2020. The game takes place between the events of Half-Life and Half-Life 2, where the remaining humans are confined to a city under strict control by the Combine. Players assume the role of Alyx Vance, the last hope for humanity, as they fight against the evil alien race known as the Combine.
Half-Life: Alyx has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from users, with a 98% approval rating based on 22,948 user reviews. The game also achieved a peak concurrent player count of 42,858 on Steam, making it the top VR game on the platform, far surpassing the second-place game Beat Saber (4,472). The game has also generated significant buzz on social media platforms such as Reddit, Twitter, and YouTube.
Although Valve has not provided official data, SteamSpy estimated that the game currently has between 500,000 to 1 million players. If these numbers are accurate, Half-Life: Alyx's revenue would be around $25 million to $50 million. Even if it is just half of that, it would still make it Valve's best-selling VR game to date.
