"Qualcomm XR Innovation Application Challenge" is a creative platform created by Qualcomm in collaboration with leading industry partners to connect the XR (Extended Reality) industry ecosystem, integrate hardware manufacturers, developer communities, and distribution channels, and encourage the creation of diverse and high-quality XR software applications for the Chinese market, promoting the development of the XR industry in China.
Pico, committed to combining the progress of core technologies in the global VR field, especially hardware technology, with self-developed technology and products to provide customers with integrated hardware and software products and services. Pico Neo2 6 Dof headset was launched in 2020, and the Pico team subsequently launched the world's first remote multi-site collaborative virtual training room system (We Training), which has received orders from dozens of vocational training institutions and industrial training programs.
We Training, which won the award this time, has added a "Discussion Room" module based on previous multi-user collaborative virtual training. In the Discussion Room, highly realistic virtual avatars can be generated with one click, allowing each user to "immerse" themselves in a virtual meeting scene and achieve true face-to-face communication through voice and text.
The "Discussion Room" module also integrates functions such as PPT, images, videos, and 3D model animation calling and sharing, as well as comprehensive editing functions for text, video, and images, such as multi-user collaborative pen annotations, making virtual collaborative meetings more vivid, intuitive, and efficient than video conferences and offline meetings, truly realizing the integration of meetings and office work.
We Training is the industry's benchmark product for virtual collaborative meetings in comparison to Facebook's Horizon Workrooms. It enables real-time, immersive interaction among multiple devices and locations through realistic virtual avatars, allowing users to communicate in a new way and bringing the industry training end of the Metaverse.
In the future, We Training will continue to upgrade under the Ultrabang brand to provide users with a better user experience.
Appendix 1: We Training Function Introduction (Training Room)
In the training room, immersive training experiences can be conducted for practical training projects using VR. Based on the design of standard operating manual procedures, real simulated operations and steps are performed, and a virtual simulation environment with real-time interactive capabilities is created to make skill training more practical. We Training fully leverages the advantages of VR training, improving learning efficiency, reducing education costs, avoiding operational safety risks, and increasing learning interest and motivation, meeting the needs of diverse learning and comprehensive talent development, and providing new technological means for professional training to improve the quality and user experience of teaching and training.
